Conduct & Harassment Policy
Amiga Ireland aims to allow enthusiasts of Amiga and Commodore technology, history and culture to enjoy a space with like-minded people in a fun and safe setting, whether that be online or in person.
Please take care to avoid the following: offensive verbal comments (including those related to race, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance or body size), deliberate intimidation, threats, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Please refrain from the use of social media to target, harass or threaten individuals or groups in the context of an Amiga Ireland event.

If a participant engages in harassing behavior, Amiga Ireland organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the event and group with no refund. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a volunteer immediately. If you are in doubt about whether a person is affiliated with Amiga Ireland, call the phone number listed on the website.

Event volunteers will be happy to help participants contact hotel/venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the event. We value your attendance.

The Amiga Ireland Conduct & Harassment Policy applies equally to all event attendees, staff, volunteers, speakers and vendors. The policy applies at all Amiga Ireland activities including meetings, during pre-show setup as well as online and pre-events.

Thank you for helping make Amiga Ireland a fun and safe experience.
